Cultures of Thinking
At Coromandel Valley Primary School, we are committed to developing learning environments where students are encouraged to actively participate in the construction of learning. Staff develop these opportunities by using a range of thinking routines to develop a culture of thinking, explored through rich dialogue. Challenging problems have been incorporated into all units of inquiry to allow students the opportunity to develop thinking skills and share their ideas with peers.
Critical and creative thinking is a focus on the Site Improvement Plan. We will continue to develop thinking skills and aim to make thinking visible in all that we do.
